Good afternoon Mr. Rodriguez,

As you already know, I am current pursing my Master's in Educational Technology at UTB Online.I am currently enrolled in Dr. Butlers  class EDTC 6329 Special topics course. This semester the class has been assigned to work with either a selected list of university clients or select a client on our own. I would like to work on a special project related to careers in collaboration with the Career Services Department.

At this time, I would like to set a meeting with you next week. Please let me know when is the most convenient time to meet next week.

Thanks,

Jaime Villanueva

5 Mr. Villanueva,

As per our conversations, we have agreed to pursue a special project in designing an instructional module that will include resume writing, cover letter writing and, if time permits, interview skills. The instructional module will include a mix of video tutorials, PowerPoint presentations, and other similar instructional technologies. Each topic will incorporate specific student learning outcomes, thus; a corresponding evaluation, at the end of each topic will be built, to verify that the student has actually learned.I know the project is quite ambitious, so I thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thank You Mr. Villanueva,

I really liked the cover letter video, I just have a couple of suggestions:1.- On the cover letter video, I recommend that you change the line “It is a document that companies your resume!” to “It is a document that complements your resume!”2.- Perhaps you might want to eliminate the voice, maintain the music and limit the content to the video.

 Great Job,

 Juan Andres Rodriguez
